This Fused Glass Love Spoon Decoration Caru Ti Welsh Valentine's Card from Pam Peters Designs is the perfect as an extra special card for Valentine's, Santes Dwynwen or an anniversary. 

Welsh Love spoons are given as a token of love and affection. Traditionally a young man would carve a spoon from wood for his suitor with great care and devotion. This would prove the man to be a skilled craftsman able to provide for his family. 

Pam has updated this tradition with a contemporary transparent red glass love spoon. Each spoon is threaded with a ribbon and attached to the card with a glue dot, the card is blank inside for your own message. The love spoon is easily detached as a keepsake to treasure. Text on the card reads "Caru ti" which is Welsh for "Love you". 

Santes Dwynwen is celebrated on January 25th and is the Welsh Valentine's.
