Pam Peters Designs
Pam and Beth, a talented mother-daughter duo, craft a beautiful collection of floral-themed glassware from their studio in Abergele.
Their signature flower dishes start with a circular piece of artisan glass, carefully hand-cut into petal shapes. The individual pieces are assembled and fired in a kiln at around 800℃ to fuse them together. A second firing process shapes the glass into a dish.
For other floral designs, a rectangular piece of clear artisan glass is used as the base. Grasses and stems are delicately hand-painted with enamel paints, and colored glass pieces are cut and arranged to complete the design. The entire piece is then kiln-fired at approximately 800℃ to bond the elements. A final firing shapes the glass into its finished form.
