This Jaci Soch Paper Spoon #1 from Jennifer Collier has been handmade in her Staffordshire based studio. 

Handcrafted from old copies of the iconic Welsh children's book Jaci Soch. Jennifer has cut and stitched the cover and pages from the book to create a charming decorative paper spoon. Jennifer incorporates the previous life of the book as a part of the design, with marks, creases and foxing all adding to the charm. 

Jaci Soch  was written by Mary Vaughan Jones and illustrated by Rowena Wyn Jones and first published in 1969, it is still a popular book to help children learn Welsh.
