This Y Pry Bach Tew Paper Jug Made from the Book Pages #1 from Jennifer Collier has been handmade in her Staffordshire based studio. 

Handcrafted from pre-loved copies of the classic Welsh children's book 'Y Pry Bach Tew' which translates to 'Little Fat Fly'. Jennifer has cut and stitched pages from the book to create a charming decorative jug. She incorporates the previous life of the book as a part of the design, with marks, creases and foxing all adding to the charm. 

Y Pry Bach Tew was written by Mary Vaughan Jones and illustrated by Rowena Wyn Jones and first published in 1969. Part of a graded reading series by Cymdeithas Lyfrau Ceredigion it helped many children learn Welsh.
