This Y Hen Darw Paper Jug Made from the Book Cover #1 from Jennifer Collier has been handcrafted in Jennifer's Staffordshire based studio. 

Handcrafted from old copies of the classic Welsh children's book 'Morgan a Magi Ann'. Jennifer has cut and stitched the cover of the book to create a charming decorative jug. She incorporates the previous life of the book as a part of the design, with marks, creases and foxing all adding to the charm. 

'Y Hen Darw' was written by Mary Vaughan Jones and illustrated by Rowena Wyn Jones and first published in 1972. Part of a graded reading series by Cymdeithas Lyfrau Ceredigion it helped many children learn Welsh. 

All intellectual property rights in the Licensed IP remain the sole property of Atebol Cyf.
