This Jaci Soch Paper Jug Made from the Book Cover #1 from Jennifer Collier has been handmade in her Staffordshire based studio. 

Handcrafted from second-hand copies of the classic Welsh children's book 'Jaci Soch' Jennifer has cut and stitched the cover of the book to create a charming decorative jug. She incorporates the previous life of the book as a part of the design, with marks, creases and foxing all adding to the charm. 

Jaci Soch was written by Mary Vaughan Jones and illustrated by Rowena Wyn Jones. Part of a graded reading series by Cymdeithas Lyfrau Ceredigion it was first published in 1969 and has helped many children learn to read Welsh. 

All intellectual property rights in the Licensed IP remain the sole property of Atebol Cyf.
