Yellow Owl Workshop
Yellow Owl Workshop was founded by Christine Schmidt after she grew up in Kansas City and attended art school in Washington, D.C. Following her education, Christine and her partner, Evan, relocated to San Francisco's Bernal Hill, where she began designing hand-printed cards and gifts.
In 2007, Christine took a bold step by showcasing her products to local retailers, which led to orders and the official launch of Yellow Owl Workshop.
Today, the company operates from a bright studio in San Francisco's Mission District, supported by a dedicated team. Despite its growth and presence in stores worldwide, Yellow Owl Workshop remains committed to its core values: meticulous craftsmanship, ecological responsibility, and high-quality, U.S. made materials. Each product embodies themes of innovative functionality, original graphics, and vibrant colours.
Christine drives the creative vision of Yellow Owl Workshop, supported by her husband, Evan Gross, close friend Maria Niubo, and a talented team that ensures the workshop runs smoothly.
