This Handcrafted Cilcain Ceramic Tea Bowl in Stoneware Clay with White Glaze is the work of Sarah Bartlem, crafted in her studio at the base of Moel Famau. Inspired by the rugged scenery and the distinctive stone used in the homes and walls of Cilcain village, the Cilcain Collection captures the essence of the local landscape.

Made from oxidising St Thomas stoneware clay and finished with a soft off-white glaze. The glaze is applied by dipping or flowing naturally, resulting in subtle differences in texture and hue. Depending on the clay, the glaze may take on a near-white or delicate heather tone, ensuring every tea bowl has its own unique character.

This tea bowl is food-safe and can be used in the microwave and dishwasher, making it perfect for everyday use. To ensure it lasts longer, hand washing is advised.
