Sandro Provini

Sandro is a Welsh ceramicist who like many creative people found a connection to clay. For Sandro it is a medium that allows a freedom of expression and gives him a sense of play. It has rhythm and energy that they are able to put into each piece they make. 

The houses are an interpretation of the Welsh home, from the terraces of the Valleys to costal cottages. Sandro takes inspiration from them all.  

Sandro believes that "when making I’m not thinking of the process alone. It is like being guided, as if what I’m making has a view of its destination, by how it will look, where it will sit, who will take care of it."
