Eggnogg Colour In
Eggnogg Colour In was founded in 2009 by designer and illustrator Kate Edmunds, following her graduation from Kingston University with a degree in Graphic Design.
The idea for Eggnogg Colour In took shape during a family trip to Italy. Kate, her husband Gareth, and their two children, then aged 5 and 7, would often visit a local pizzeria. The waiter would cover the table with plain paper sheets and give the kids a pot of pens. While the children enjoyed drawing, the plain, advertisement-covered paper didn’t offer much inspiration. That's when Kate had an Eureka moment! Why not create a tablecloth designed for children to colour in? Inspired by her quirky illustrations of animals, party food, and characters from her greeting cards, she envisioned a fun and engaging way to keep kids entertained at mealtime or parties.
Kate’s whimsical designs, often inspired by her love for Tim Burton, feature quirky animals and larger-than-life characters, creating a chaotic yet fun world that appeals to both children and adults.
