Driftwood Designs

Driftwood Designs was established in 2012 by Lizzie Spikes and Becky Barratt.

Lizzie, who is trained as an illustrator and scenographer, creates each design. She often uses recycled wood, driftwood, and collaged paper as canvases, finding inspiration in their unique shapes, textures, and forms. These materials perfectly complement the fluidity of the inks and paints she applies.

Welsh language features prominently in Lizzie’s work, as she has a strong passion for expressing words, places, and emotions through her art.
