Clara and Macy is a family-run business where products are designed with families in mind and crafted by the Clempson family themselves. 

Clara and Macy are committed to using ethically sourced materials and maintaining environmentally responsible practices. In their cozy studio in Altrincham, Cheshire, a dedicated four-person team carefully handcrafts each order. The business specializes in creating personalized and imaginative products for children and their families, with a focus on bringing joy, fostering family togetherness, and adding a touch of magic to everyday life.

Founded by Laura Clempson in 2012, after a decade of working as a puppet maker in animation, Clara and Macy grew from Laura's desire to bring her own designs to life. It all began with sketches of two characters, Clara and Macy, who were originally envisioned for picture books. What started as a plan to create a few products for a pitch to publishers quickly evolved into a full-fledged business, with the initial designs blossoming into an entire product range.
