Amy Buckley

After graduating from University of Leeds in Printed Textile Design, Amy began to specialise in illustration and selling her work online as well as at print and craft fairs.

Amy's work is inspired by the interesting forms and shapes found in nature, specifically floral imagery.

Her work illustrates the main elements we see when viewing an object (shape and line, colour and shadow) and simplifies them to create aesthetically simple designs. This way of working creates a multi layered illustration, whilst works along side with capturing the natural movement and whimsey of floral imagery.
