Set of 4 rectangle placemats made with natural cork which has been smoked with light ink to enhance the pattern of the cork.

The cork used for the placemat is grown and harvested naturally from cork oak in the Montado forests in Portugal. 

Cork forests absorb 32 million tons of CO2 each year. The forest in Portugal alone help offset 10 million tons of carbon every year.

Cork continues to absorb CO2 even when made into a LIGA product.
